Scientists advise parents:50% of children do not sleep for 8 hours continuously at night, changing sleeping patterns; That's not a problem

 Welcome to mbctalk,

Parents always complain that their children cannot sleep. They wake up after sleeping for a while. American scientists have answered this question through research. Scientists say that 50 percent of children up to 6 months of age do not get 8 hours of sleep a night.

Researched on 44 newborn

Scientists monitored 44 new born for two weeks to understand the sleep patterns of children. There were 22 boys and 22 girls. During the research, 50 percent of the children could not sleep for 6 consecutive hours.

Advice: Parents need not worry.

According to research, children's sleep patterns are changing. If children do not sleep at night then parents need not worry as their sleep patterns may change every night. Sometimes less and sometimes more.

The pattern of sleep was being

questioned when the newborn was 6 months old. He was given a diary. When the children had a long sleep for 13 consecutive nights, they had to write it down in a diary.

The average mother’s response was that their baby slept for 6 hours for 5 consecutive nights. Only 3 nights he slept for 8 hours.
