The hotel is built every winter and after five months it becomes a river. The hotel, first built in 1989, is celebrating its 31st founding day.

Hotel founder Youngwe Bergquist and creative director Luca Roncoroni have created 12 bedrooms, ice bars, and ice sculptures in 6 types of suites this year in view of the Corona epidemic. 

The owner says the hotel is 200 km from the Arctic Circle. Far away is the Torn River.

Temperatures here hover around -18 to -40 degrees. Every year 70,000 people come to this hotel for holidays, but it seems that only a limited number of people will come due to the epidemic. So, this year they have only made 6 suits.

The nightly rent of this hotel is 4 thousand Swedish kronor (approximately Rs. 35 thousand). 24 artists from Sweden completed the hotel in about 18 days.

The hotel owner claims that the ice hotel will melt by April 11, 2021. Last year they built 12 suites here.
